The NAMAD General Management Executive Program Scholarship


In partnership with the National Association of Minority Automobile Dealers (NAMAD), NCM Associates is proud to offer the NAMAD GMEP Scholarship—an opportunity designed to support and develop the next generation of automotive leaders.

Each year, one deserving candidate will be awarded a full scholarship to NCM’s General Management Executive Program (GMEP). This premier program equips current and future dealer principals, general managers, and executive leaders with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to succeed in today’s competitive automotive industry.

This scholarship reflects a shared commitment between NAMAD and NCM to advance leadership, expand opportunities, and strengthen the future of minority representation in automotive retail.

Through this initiative, participants gain access to industry-leading education, hands-on learning, and expert guidance—empowering them to drive meaningful impact within their dealerships and communities.

To apply for the NAMAD GMEP Scholarship, please complete the application form provided on this page. 

All Applicants must be a current NAMAD member. 

This scholarship is valued at $9,750. Travel expenses are not included in the scholarship and are the responsibility of the scholarship winner.

GMEP Program Overview

All-Inclusive Development


Provide an all-inclusive development program to ensure new or future dealer principals, general managers and other executive level managers are well-equipped for long-term success.

Critical Skills and Knowledge


Develop the critical knowledge, skills and abilities to analyze and manage departmental and dealership operations for maximum profitability.

Make Commitments


Develop and regularly monitor at least four faculty-approved Commitments following the first five training sessions. Students are required to report their progress to the class.

6 Sessions


Over the course of 6 sessions, held every other month for 10 months, students will learn how to skillfully manage and balance the demands of their dealership. 

Ongoing Support


Provide ongoing support from Instructors and classmates to ensure your long-term success.
